![]() ![]() It’s honestly the best thing I’ve tried, and I’ve tried quite a lot. Sure it creases a little but everything does, and it might fade throughout the day but never so badly that I need to reapply. ![]() If your undereyes are severely dry then you’ll need to rectify that before trying this. I swipe the brush on the concealer stick, and buff it lightly onto my skin and it covers everything and can be layered. It lasts about 6 months to a year, and the key is to apply it with a dense, domed concealer brush like the popular Sephora one (look up the top-rated ones on makeupalley). I get compliments on my skin all the time, and I attribute it to my skincare routine, but also to the natural-looking effect of this stuff. I also use it on my blemishes and any uneven spots on my complexion and I don’t need to use foundation anymore (which is a shame as I have many nice and expensive foundations just sitting around, but they don’t compare to the natural look and feel of CdP!). If I’m having a particularly bad undereye day, I will layer with a tiny dot or two of the Armani corrector only on the darkest part of my bags/circles, but this concealer is my daily go-to that I seriously can’t live without. I only tried the first three because my search ended when I found Cle de Peau, and it’s been the only concealer I have repurchased. I wasted a lot of uni study time reading about concealers! I narrowed down “the best” to Cle de Peau, La Mer, Armani and Le Metier de Beaute. I had a lot of major issues with my undereye area due to dryness, bumpiness, bags and darkness from a long-ago car accident which left remnants of two black eyes. I am currently an NC30 in MAC foundations and this shade looks. It looks and works like a luxury concealer.Ocher: I did a lot of research before committing to this purchase and reviews were conflicting. This shade suits my skin tone so perfectly and you really cant tell there is makeup on my skin. This formula is well worth the high ticket price. It works so well for under the eyes and for all over the complexion. I’ve used Almond in the past but Ochre is my best match now for my Florida tan. 3) Cle de Peau Beaute Concealer The Concealer in Ochre is the best opaque formula I’ve tried for a full coverage concealer. 'Clé de Peau is the holy grail of cream concealers It covers beautifully and stays put without drying out the skin,' Bass says. I won't tell you this is a unique formula because I haven't tried enough concealers to confirm this but I will tell you that I have been looking for a formula like this with this exact finish for a while, and this is the closest I've come to a dream concealer. It goes on smoothly and has good coverage without looking heavy. Both Bass and Turle recommend Clé de Peaus concealer. The concealer is correcting, brightening, and perfecting. While it is expensive, a little bit goes such a long way. Covers spots, freckles and dark circles to create a beautiful, even-toned complexion. The formula blends so effortlessly and looks very skin-like, if you use just the right amount. A perennial makeup artist favorite, Clé de Peau Beauté concealer is highly editorialized and continues to win major awards year-after-year. I didn't want to like this formula because I think the price is ridiculous but I must admit, it's a pretty amazing formula! Despite my annoyance with the Tom Ford brand over the past few years, this concealer is a winner! The concealer is full coverage but still looks incredibly natural and never looks heavy. Also, the first time I applied it around my nose to hide my redness and I applied much too much and it really sank into the creases of my nose and made my skin look heavy and wrinkly in that area. As someone besieged with dark circles since she was a small child, I’m what you might call a concealer connoisseur. I will say, you can easily go overboard and make this look heavy and it will end up sinking into your lines and crevices if you apply too much! I notice this when I was actually at the counter and the sales associate told me she was wearing this concealer and she looked younger than me but, she had so much concealer under her eyes, it looked cakey, heavy, and it emphasized every line around her eyes. 75 at Amazon Amazon Clea de Peaus concealer is available in 10 shades. It does have a thicker texture than I would typically reach for but the formula blends out so well and it doesn't look heavy. I don't typically gravitate towards a full coverage concealer because they tend to be so thick and heavy however, this concealer is neither heavy nor too thick. ![]() This concealer formula is VERY pigmented! You need just a tiny speck to cover pigmentation, spots, and even under the eyes. ![]()
